Privacy Policy

TotLog (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect and use your information when you use the TotLog mobile app and related services.
Information We Collect
- Account info: name and email address collected via Firebase Authentication.
- App content: baby profiles, milestones, notes, photos, and videos you choose to upload.
- Technical data: device/platform info, basic analytics, and error/crash data to improve the app.
- Push token: if you enable notifications, we store a device token to send them.
- Purchase/subscription info: we receive purchase status and receipts from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and may use a service like RevenueCat to help us know which plan your account should have.
Where We Store Data
- Authentication: Firebase Authentication
- App data/metadata: Firebase Firestore
- Media files (photos/videos): Cloudflare R2 object storage
- Subscriptions/entitlement: managed by Apple App Store or Google Play and synchronized to TotLog
How We Use Data
- To provide the core features of TotLog (create baby profiles, capture milestones, share with trusted people).
- To keep track of your storage usage and plan limits.
- To send you notifications you opt into (for example, friend requests).
- To confirm your purchase or subscription status with Apple / Google / RevenueCat.
- To maintain app safety and reliability.
Platform Terms & End User Agreements
TotLog is distributed through both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Each platform has its own end-user license terms that govern app use and subscriptions on that platform:
- iOS (Apple): governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
- Android (Google Play): governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service: https://play.google.com/about/play-terms.
By downloading or subscribing on either platform, you agree to the applicable store’s terms in addition to this Privacy Policy.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Delete account). When you do this, we will:
- delete your user record and related documents from Firebase (Auth + Firestore);
- delete media objects stored in Cloudflare R2 that belong to your account; and
- remove friend/shared associations where possible.
Important: deleting your TotLog account does not cancel an active subscription in the store. To stop future billing:

Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors (Firebase, Cloudflare, RevenueCat) only to operate the app and deliver the features you use.
Children’s Data
Parents or guardians may upload information about their children. Children should not create their own accounts.
Your Rights
- Update your information in the app.
- Delete your account in the app.
- Control notifications on your device.
